Breakfast at the hotel, Visit The National Museum of Cambodia; it is home to the world’s finest collection of Khmer sculptures: a millennium’s worth and more masterful Khmer design. It’s housed in a graceful terracotta structure of traditional design (built from 1917 to 1920) with an inviting courtyard garden. And then drive to The Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda two of the most striking buildings in the capital and considered some of the finest examples of Khmer architecture. They were initially constructed in 1866 by the French. The Royal Palace is home to the current King Sihamoni. The neighboring Silver Pagoda stands out in its own distinctive way. The floor consists of 5,329 solid silver tiles to which the building owes its name. The building houses many golds and jeweled Buddha statues including the highly prized 17th-century baccarat crystal Buddha. Other important buildings that can be found within the compound include Wat Preah Keo Morokat, where Royal ceremonies are performed, and stupas such as King Ang Doung Stupa – the burial site of former King Norodom. (Open from 8.00am to 10:30am and 2.00pm to 5.00pm. Women should cover their shoulders and both men and women should cover their knees). Lunch at Sombok Restaurant
After lunch visits Toul Sleng, it was a high school prior to 1975, an interrogation prison known as S-21 during the Khmer Rouge era, and today it is a genocide museum. It tells the sad story of the thousands of innocent Cambodian people who were tortured on its grounds. Walking through the narrow corridors and former classrooms of the buildings will give you an eerie feeling of being part of Cambodia’s turbulent past. The stories of the victims are documented and some torture devices are on display for visitors to learn about the suffering the people endured. Photographs were taken of each prisoner passing through the prison and hundreds of the haunting black and white photos are now on display in the museum. While this experience may be depressing, it is recommended to visit in order to truly understand the cruel methods of control the Khmer Rouge implemented over the country. And then Visit Wat Phnom, set on top of a 27m-high tree-covered knoll, Wat Phnom is on the only ‘hill’ in town. According to legend, the first pagoda on this site was erected in 1372 to house four statues of Buddha deposited here by the waters of the Mekong River and discovered by Lady Penh. Hence the city was named Phnom Penh or ‘hill of Penh’. Next, we take a boat ride for sunset (Private). Phnom Penh is situated between two rivers, the Mekong River and the Tonle Sap River. At night when the sunlight fades and the neon lights appear along the river banks, small cruise boats will take you out onto the river to take in the city from a different perspective. Witness the sunset over the Royal Palace and the Mekong River, following by dinner on boat.
Disembark and return to the hotel and Night at hotel in Phnom Penh.

Dating back to the French Indochina era, the three-wheeled bicycle taxi — known as the “Cyclo” — has been a traditional mode of transportation in the Kingdom for over 80 years. Once a practical means of getting around Phnom Penh, the cyclo features a driver pedaling behind the passenger, who sits comfortably in a low-slung seat between two front wheels. Early breakfast at the hotel and check-out.
In the morning at 7:30 AM, your cyclo driver will pick you up from the hotel for a ride to the Orussey area, where you’ll discover the heart of Phnom Penh on a charming cyclo tour — a quintessential Cambodian experience. This half-day journey blends royal grandeur, artistic heritage, and bustling local life, offering a vibrant glimpse into the capital’s rich history and culture. Visit one of Phnom Penh’s landmark buildings, the art-deco Psar Thmei (literally “New Market”), often called the Central Market due to its central location and impressive size. The huge domed hall resembles a Babylonian ziggurat and is said to be among the ten largest domes in the world. Its clever design allows for maximum ventilation, keeping the central hall cool and airy even on hot days. Recently renovated with French government assistance, the market is now in excellent condition. Explore its four wings filled with stalls selling gold and silver jewelry, antique coins, watches, clothing, and many other local goods. For photographers, the fresh-food section offers fantastic photo opportunities and followed by transfer to the airport for departure by K6 107 KTI-SAI 13:30 14:25.
