Arrival in Siem Reap

Siem Reap – Angkor Temple Discovery

Today, you will rise early around 5:00 AM to witness the breathtaking sunrise over Angkor Wat. After the sunrise, return to your hotel for breakfast and a short rest.
At approximately 10:00 AM, your guide will take you on a discovery tour of the Angkor Temples. This morning, you will visit:

Day 3
Siem Reap – Battambang

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up at around 8:30 AM for a visit to Tonle Sap Lake, the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia.
Your first stop will be Kompong Phluk, a large village built on stilts over the water. You will have the opportunity to learn about the daily lives of the locals who reside on the lake. Following a boat trip through the picturesque lake and mangrove forests, you will have lunch at a local restaurant.
Next, you will journey to Battambang (approximately 3 hours' drive). On the way, visit Wat Ek Phnom, an 11th-century temple, and admire the colonial-style houses along the Sangke River. You will also visit a traditional rice-flaky cake factory.

Phnom Penh Day Tour

  2. A visit to the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and the Killing Fields, which chronicle the Cambodian genocide.

Luang Prabang City Tour with Local Lifestyle Exploration

Boat Trip to Pak Ou Caves & Kuang Si Waterfall

  2. Waterfall and Hydroelectric Station: Trek through rice paddy terraces on a dirt trail.
  3. Y Linh Ho Village: A Black Hmong minority village, where you can rest and enjoy lunch.
  4. Muong Hoa Valley: Pass through Lao Chai village, another Black Hmong minority area.
  5. Ta Van Village: A village of the Giay minority.

You will be greeted with a welcome drink and provided with an introduction and guidelines for the cruise. Enjoy lunch in the elegant dining room onboard.

In the afternoon, take part in exciting activities such as sightseeing, kayaking, or swimming, depending on the cruise's itinerary. Relax in the spa or join a cooking class to learn the art of traditional Vietnamese cuisine.

Your exploration will continue with a visit to:

Mandalay to Bagan

This morning, following breakfast, you will be transferred by private van to Bagan. The journey covers a distance of approximately 112 miles and will take around 4 hours. Upon arrival, you will be escorted to your hotel for check-in.

In the afternoon, you will embark on a guided exploration of Bagan, where you will visit:

  1. Thousands of Buddhist Pagodas: Bagan is home to over 4,000 Buddhist temples and pagodas scattered throughout the town.
  2. Nyaung Oo Market: A bustling local market where goods are bought and sold.
  3. Shwezigon Pagoda: The largest pagoda in Bagan, renowned for its golden exterior.

You will then enjoy a charming horse cart ride to the village of Taung Phi, where you can observe a teak monastery. Continue the ride through the temples and winding roads, as the setting sun casts beautiful shadows across the landscape. You will also visit Shwesandaw Pagoda, known for offering one of the finest sunsets in Southeast Asia.

Day 22
Hot Air Balloon Ride & Mount Popa

Today, you will rise early at 5:00 AM to experience a serene hot air balloon flight over Bagan’s temples. The flight will offer an extraordinary view of the ancient pagodas, nestled beneath the shadow of low mountains and alongside the mighty Irrawaddy River.

The entire experience will last approximately 2.5 hours. After landing, the ground crew will pack up the balloon, and you will enjoy celebratory champagne, along with a flight certificate signed by the pilot.

After breakfast, you will have free time until your tour guide arrives to escort you to Mount Popa at approximately 1:00 PM - 1:30 PM.

  1. Mount Popa: A dormant volcano in central Myanmar, it is the highest point in the Pegu Range.
  2. Popa Taungkalat Monastery: A monastery perched atop a rocky hill, offering panoramic views of the surrounding fields and Mount Popa.
  3. Nat Shrine: Dedicated to the 37 Nats (spirits), with lifelike figures representing these animist deities.

Please note, there is a climb of 777 steps to reach the monastery. Alternatively, you may opt to visit the sandalwood forest and medical herb garden, both rich in local flora and fauna.

After the visit to Mount Popa, you will be transferred to Mandalay for an approximately 4-hour drive. Upon arrival, you will check in to your hotel and rest for the evening.

Day 28
Ang Thong Marine Park Tour

After breakfast, you will take a 30-minute speedboat ride to Koh Samui, followed by a boat tour of Ang Thong Marine Park, where you will have the opportunity to snorkel, kayak, and enjoy the stunning scenery. You will visit the following islands:

  1. Ko Nai Phut: Known for its caves, tunnels, and lagoon, where you can enjoy guided kayaking.
  2. Ko Wao Yai: Famous for colorful coral reefs, making it an excellent snorkeling spot.
  3. Ko Mae Ko: Home to the Blue Lagoon (also known as the Emerald Lake), which inspired the book and movie The Beach.
  4. Ko Phaluai: A small island inhabited by "sea gypsy" fishermen.

Following the tour, you can relax on the boat as it returns to Koh Samui. A beautiful sunset may be visible during the journey.

Day 29
Flight to Phuket; Half-Day Phuket City Tour

Enjoy your free time in Koh Samui until your tour guide escorts you to the airport for a flight to Phuket (1 hour).

Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in. After a short rest, you will embark on a half-day city tour of Phuket, visiting:

  1. Old Phuket Town: The historical center of the island, with its vibrant architecture.
  2. Wat Chalong: The most revered temple on the island.
  3. Karon Viewpoint: A stunning panoramic view of Karon, Kata, and Kata Noi beaches.

After the tour, you will return to your hotel for the remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 30
Phi Phi Island Tour

This morning, you will be transferred to Phuket Port to embark on a 45-minute speedboat ride to the Phi Phi Islands.

During the tour, you will visit:

  2. Loh Samah Bay: Known for vibrant coral reefs.
  3. Phi Leh Cove: Home to the Viking Cave.
  4. Monkey Beach: A popular spot to see friendly monkeys.

After enjoying a delicious Thai buffet, you will continue to Koh Khai Nok Island, where you will have free time to relax, swim, or snorkel.
