Upon arrival at Luang Prabang Airport, you will be greeted by your driver/guide and transferred to your hotel. You may choose to relax by the pool or, if you prefer to explore, take a stroll through the town. Luang Prabang, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was once the capital of the Kingdom of Laos and is beautifully situated on a narrow peninsula between the Mekong and Nam Khan Rivers. The riverside is lined with restaurants and bars, perfect for an evening walk. You can also visit the Night Market and the nearby food stalls, which open at sunset.
After breakfast, begin your cultural immersion with a visit to the Royal Palace Museum for a glimpse into the city's history. Stroll through the quiet back lanes to Huan Chuan Heritage House, a traditional stilt longhouse, where you can enjoy a refreshing iced tea in the lush gardens. Continue to the tip of the peninsula to visit Wat Xiengthong, an enchanting temple known for its elegant sweeping roof. You will also explore the nearby Wat Khili, home to an exhibition of Buddhist heritage photos.
In the afternoon, visit the Traditional Arts and Ethnology Centre to learn about Laos' diverse ethnic groups. Later, travel to Ban Xang Khong and Ban Xieng Lek, two ethnic villages famous for their textile weaving. Return to Luang Prabang and visit Wat Visoun, also known as the "Watermelon Stupa," before taking the evening at your leisure.
This morning, journey outside Luang Prabang to a local family farm where you will experience traditional rice farming techniques. After working in the fields, enjoy a meal of classic Laotian dishes made with rice. Then, continue to Kuang Si waterfall for a picnic lunch by the cascading jade-colored pools. Visit the Tat Kuang Si Bear Rescue Center, where rescued bears and other endangered animals are rehabilitated. Afterward, return to Luang Prabang for a relaxing evening.
Start your day early with the Tak Bat ceremony, where Buddhist monks collect alms from the local community, a ritual that has been practiced for over 2,500 years. Then, visit the bustling municipal market before transferring to the Mekong River for a boat ride to Pak Ou Caves, filled with thousands of Buddha statues. On your return, stop at the weaving villages of Ban Xangkhong and Ban Nongxai before heading back to Luang Prabang.
Take an early train to Vientiane, the capital city of Laos, and embark on a half-day tour of its historical landmarks, including Wat Sisaket, the oldest temple in Vientiane, and Wat Prakeo, a former royal temple. You will also visit Patuxai Monument, which offers panoramic views of the city, and the golden stupa of That Luang, the country's most important religious structure.
Fly from Vientiane to Pakse in southern Laos. Visit the Bolaven Plateau, Laos' coffee-growing region, where you will explore waterfalls such as the Tad Fan cascade and visit tea and coffee plantations. Continue to the historic town of Champasak for the night.
Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Wat Phou, a 5th-century Khmer Hindu temple complex that offers sweeping views of the Mekong River. After the excursion, return to Champasak for an overnight stay.
Take a ferry across the Mekong to Don Khong, the largest of the "4,000 Islands" in southern Laos. After checking in to your hotel, cycle along the dirt roads of three islands: Don Phouman, Don Saang Phai, and Don Loppadi, each offering unique cultural insights. Enjoy a home-cooked lunch with a local family before returning to your hotel for the evening.
Start the day with a visit to the Khone Phapheng Falls, one of Southeast Asia's most impressive waterfalls. Then, travel to the Cambodian border and meet your guide for a scenic drive to the village of Sra'aem. From here, transfer to a 4WD vehicle for a steep ascent to Preah Vihear Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located atop a plateau with stunning views of the surrounding plains.
Journey south through northern Cambodia, stopping to visit key historical sites related to the Khmer Rouge regime, including the cremation site of Pol Pot and the house of Ta Mok. Continue to Siem Reap, where you can explore the town or enjoy a relaxing evening at your hotel.
Today, visit the iconic Angkor Wat, the largest religious building in the world. Explore Angkor Thom, including the Bayon Temple with its massive smiling stone faces, as well as the Terrace of the Leper King and the Terrace of the Elephants. After lunch, visit Ta Prohm, famously featured in the "Tomb Raider" movie. Return to Siem Reap for dinner.

After lunch, enjoy a hands-on cooking class with a local family, learning to prepare traditional Khmer dishes. You will enjoy this meal together in an intimate setting, where the family accepts only one booking per day to ensure a personal experience.
Embark on a cycling tour through the picturesque countryside surrounding Siem Reap, visiting villages where you will meet local artisans. In the evening, attend a performance of Phare, The Cambodian Circus, where young Cambodians use music, dance, and circus acts to tell stories of their culture.
